Nature of work
- Installation, commissioning and maintenance of intelligent transport systems equipment (speed measurement, traffic light control, license plate recognition, video surveillance, traffic detection and analytics systems, variable information signs, driver and passenger information screens and road weather conditions detection systems);
- Installation, configuration and testing of hardware and system software;
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting of systems remotely and at facilities;
- Documentation of work performed: preparation of measurement protocols, work and fault reports;
- Cooperation with customer representatives, team members and equipment manufacturers' technical support specialists;
- Participation in the team's on-call schedule and response to critical faults (according to agreement).
Employee requirements
- Engineering education in automation, aeronautics, electronics, electricity, telecommunications or similar field;
- At least 2 years of engineering work experience (final year students with the specified education who are motivated to apply the acquired knowledge in practice are also considered);
- Ability to read electrical and electronic diagrams;
- Basic knowledge of computer networks (IP addressing, switches, communication lines) and skills in working with operating systems;
- Technical knowledge of English;
- Category B driver's license and readiness to travel to sites throughout Lithuania as needed during work;
- Responsibility, attention to detail, result orientation;
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn and understand specific technologies of intelligent transport systems (ITS).
