Nature of work

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Maintain and administer server infrastructure, perform upgrades and repairs.
  • Implement security measures and policies in the server environment.
  • Monitor server performance, respond to incidents in real time, and provide performance reports.
  • Work with other IT specialists to ensure smooth system integration.
  • Create and update documentation on server configuration, procedures, and policies.
  • Perform server backups and recovery operations.
  • Identify and analyze server performance problems, search for and implement solutions.
  • Perform installation and configuration of new servers according to the needs of the organization.
  • Organize and conduct server and application performance tests.
  • Provide technical support and consultations to other team members and clients.

Requests

Requirements:

  • Windows Server and workstation administration (AD based)
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V based)
  • Experience in managing DB servers (Microsoft SQL based)
  • Experience with network configuration (firewalls, routers, etc.)
  • Experience using RAID and other security solutions (HP Proliant based)
  • Knowledge of network security technologies (Firewall, Cyberoam, Microtik, Ipsec and SSTP VPN).
  • Experience in Linux server administration
  • Ability to analyze and optimize server performance
  • Ability to perform system monitoring
  • Analytical skills to identify and solve network problems.

ADVANTAGES:

  • Experience in administering MS SQL databases
  • Experience with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS)
  • Knowledge of security standards (ISO, GDPR, NIS2)
  • Knowledge of automation tools (PowerShell based)
  • Quick adoption of technologies
