Nature of work

  • Formation, maintenance and assurance of unified design principles for IT infrastructure and technological platform architecture;
  • Architectural assessment and decision-making of infrastructure, platforms and technological changes in on-prem and cloud environments;
  • Preparation of architectural solutions for IT projects and changes, including servers, virtualization, networks, storage, cloud services and hybrid platforms;
  • Preparation of technical tasks and architectural guidelines for infrastructure deployment, modernization, migration and standardization;
  • Design of hybrid infrastructure (cloud–DC) architecture, determining the principles of network segmentation, connections and secure communications with platforms and integration solutions;
  • Application of identity and access management (IAM) and security control principles when designing infrastructure solutions according to Zero Trust provisions;
  • Design of high availability and recovery solutions (HA/DR), assessment of RTO/RPO requirements and coordination of the organization of related tests;
  • application of infrastructure automation principles, ensuring IaC, configuration traceability, standardization and use of "golden" templates;
  • formation of monitoring solutions, including metrics, logs, alerts, and initiating incident root cause analysis (RCA) and providing recommendations;
  • application of principles of utilization and cost optimization of technological platforms, assessing efficiency, capacity and FinOps aspects;
  • participation in testing, implementation and launch of infrastructure solutions, ensuring architectural compliance;
  • preparation of technical and architectural documentation (architectural diagrams, descriptions of infrastructure solutions);
  • analysis, testing and providing recommendations of technological platforms, infrastructure solutions and architectural alternatives.

Employee requirements

  • higher university degree or equivalent in information technology or a related field;
  • experience in the field of IT infrastructure, technology platforms or solution architecture;
  • result-oriented and hands-on approach when working with infrastructure and platform solutions;
  • knowledge of cloud and (or) on-prem infrastructure, hybrid architectures, networks and their interaction;
  • understanding of the principles of identity and access management, security control and infrastructure resilience;
  • ability to prepare infrastructure architectural descriptions, diagrams and technical tasks;
  • ability to analyze and model the architecture of technology solutions and their interaction;
  • planning, task structuring and decision prioritization skills;
  • ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • English language proficiency at least B2 level;
  • analytical thinking, systematic approach, initiative and responsibility;
  • impeccable personal and professional reputation.

Advantages:

  • Knowledge of TOGAF, IT4IT or other architectural methodologies and experience in applying them in practice;
  • experience working with complex IT infrastructure projects or implementing technological platforms;
  • experience working with public cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure solutions;
  • experience designing high availability, disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity solutions;
  • experience in infrastructure automation, IaC, configuration management and applying standardized templates;
  • knowledge of monitoring, log analysis, observability or incident root cause analysis (RCA) practices;
  • experience working with containerization or orchestration solutions;
  • Azure, AWS, GCP or similar architect-level and security-focused certifications;
  • experience in energy, infrastructure or other critical systems areas.
