IT Infrastructure Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager who would ensure stable daily operation of the IT infrastructure in the production environment and contribute to the development and standardization of the infrastructure.

This is an active ("hands-on") role - we expect that you will not only coordinate the direction of the infrastructure and lead the IT administrator team, but also actively engage in solving technical problems, incident management and daily infrastructure maintenance.

In the position, you will be responsible for organizing the work of the IT administrator team, closely cooperate with the KDV group manager and engineers in solving production infrastructure issues, and also coordinate the work of external IT partners and service providers.

A large part of the work will consist of practical tasks related to the maintenance of the production IT infrastructure: network administration, workplace and access management, maintenance of the IT environment of production equipment and daily incident resolution.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND GOALS

• Ensure stable and reliable operation of IT infrastructure in production and administrative environments.
• Lead a team of IT administrators, organize work and priorities.
• Closely cooperate with the KDV group manager and engineers in resolving IT issues of production infrastructure and equipment.
• Coordinate the work of external IT partners and service providers and ensure the quality of services provided.
• Make decisions on the allocation of internal and external IT resources.
• Actively engage in incident resolution and critical problem resolution.
• Administer and maintain Windows/Linux infrastructure, virtualization solutions and computer networks.
• Ensure the operation of the IT environment of the production equipment:
• perform Windows updates on production equipment and machines,
• administer user and system access,
• resolve network connection problems,
• maintain workstations and production terminals.
• Contribute to infrastructure standardization, automation and development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with basic IT security requirements.
• Cooperate with other departments of the organization in solving IT issues.

SUCCESSFUL WORK REQUIRED

• At least 8 years of practical experience in IT infrastructure administration and maintenance.
• At least 3 years of experience in leading technical IT teams or coordinating them.
• Experience in cooperating with external IT service providers.
• Good practical knowledge of:
• Windows and/or Linux systems,
• network infrastructure (Aruba, Fortigate or similar solutions),
• virtualization solutions,
• user and system access administration,
• IT infrastructure of the production environment.
• Understanding of cloud solutions (Azure, AWS or similar).
• Ability to combine a strategic approach with daily operational work.
• Ability to make independent decisions and effectively solve technical problems.
• Good communication skills and the ability to cooperate with different departments of the organization.

Salary

€5,751 - €7,182/month excluding taxes. Salary will depend on experience and qualifications.
