We are looking for an IT engineer to join our team!

Job Description:

Ensuring the operation, maintenance and timely troubleshooting of physical IT equipment (servers, data storage, network equipment) stored in data centers (2 locations in Vilnius);
Physical IT equipment equipment assembly, ensuring updates, user creation and technical communication with clients (in LT and EN);
Physical IT equipment installation/dismantling, cabling, switching;
Escorting and supervising clients' technical staff in data centers
Connecting physical network equipment in data centers (routers, switches, firewalls), switching, "remote hands" assistance when working with both internal and external requests;
Monitoring the quality parameters of physical IT and network equipment stored in data centers and timely responding to incoming messages;
Maintaining the required amount of spare physical IT equipment and its components and maintaining documentation;
Independent execution of work, and timely communication with other technical internal teams and clients;
Software (physical IT equipment) updating, installation of necessary programs in technical environments, installation of operating systems using internal ISO images;
Work with internal company systems (both at the user and administrator level);
On-call 1-2 weeks per month (the employee must be available at any time and be able to physically arrive in Vilnius to the data centers

Due to the specifics of the work, remote work is not possible (only physically in technical facilities in Vilnius)

Has an education in engineering, computer networks or other similar fields (or is currently studying);
Able to communicate well and maintain good relationships;
Able to communicate well in writing and orally in Lithuanian and English
Able to work both independently and in a team;
Achieving results and knowledge is one of the goals;
Good knowledge of English and Lithuanian in writing and orally;
Has a driver's license and active driving experience of at least 2 years (category B).

Advantages:

Has experience in configuring and operating (administrating) computer networks (LAN/WAN/VLAN);
Has experience working in data centers.

2500 – 3800 €/month excluding taxes.
