UCS Baltic systems operate every day in hundreds of restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues throughout Lithuania. Our IT engineering teams are responsible for their operation. We are looking for a manager who will become the support of these teams: will know how everyone is doing, will make decisions when they are needed and will make sure that the team is good to work with.

We are looking for a manager who will become the support of these teams: will know how everyone is doing, will make decisions when they are needed and will make sure that the team is good to work with.
This role is about people, not tables:
- You will be the first point of contact for the team: you will make decisions about priorities, tasks and daily situations yourself, without waiting for someone else's permission.
- You will regularly conduct 1:1 conversations with each team member. You will know what is going well, what is hindering and where the person wants to grow.
- You will go to teams in other cities not to check, but to be together, listen and help.
- You will plan and distribute work so that the team is neither overloaded nor without work.
- You will notice what is stuck in the processes and take action to fix it.
- You will be a bridge between engineers, managers and other departments.
It will suit you if:
- you have already managed a team or coordinated people and you enjoy it;
- 1:1 conversations are not a formality for you, but a way to really get to know people;
- you are able to make a decision, even when you do not have all the information, and take responsibility for it;
- you know how to say "no" or give complex feedback in a way that makes a person feel respected;
- you understand the world of IT services or technical support (you do not need to be an engineer, but you must understand their language);
- you have a category B driver's license and you are happy to travel around Lithuania.
