IT Specialist

Nature of work

  • Participates in the development, maintenance and improvement of information systems and application software used by the Institute;
  • Develops, tests, implements and (or) administers the functionalities of information systems, taking into account the operational needs of the Institute;
  • Supervises and supports the Institute's information systems, resolves technical problems of users;
  • Participates in the implementation and application of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions in the activities of the Institute, including:
  • data analysis and process automation solutions;
  • Application of AI models in existing information systems;
  • Application of generative artificial intelligence tools (e.g., programming assistance, document analysis, report preparation);
  • Analyzes the Institute's operational processes and provides proposals for the application of IT and AI solutions to increase operational efficiency;
  • Cooperates with departmental employees in the development, implementation and testing of information systems and AI solutions;
  • Ensures data security, compliance with cybersecurity and personal data protection requirements;
  • Provides methodological and practical assistance to the Institute's employees in using information systems and IT tools;
  • Performs other assigned tasks related to IT functions and the Institute's activities.

Employee requirements

  • Higher university education in computer science, information technology or a similar field
(can be a final year student);
  • Basic knowledge of:
  • programming or systems administration;
  • databases and information systems;
  • Understanding or interest in artificial intelligence solutions (practical experience is an advantage);
  • Ability to analyze problems and find solutions;
  • Good computer skills;
  • Ability to work in a team and independently;
  • Knowledge of Lithuanian, knowledge of English (not lower than B1 level).
  • Work is carried out only by contact method.
