Nature of work
- Configuration and installation of new desktop and laptop computer hardware and software
- Configuration and installation of new software on existing computers
- Office 365 administration
- Dealing with day to day issues related to Anti-virus and Backup services
- Printer and MFP installation and configuration
- First line support for local IT problems
- Assist users with training for local PC software
- Work alongside all the functions within the business and to provide appropriate IT services
- Support other sites where necessary and group IT projects
- Ensure the standards agreed by Group IT are implemented
- Responsible for functional areas as defined in the appendix
- Manage local IT assets using group standard tools.
Employee requirements
- Experience working with manufacturing and/or commercial sites.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks and remain result-oriented.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
