MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- administer communications and network infrastructure, hardware and software and ensure their secure and uninterrupted operation;
- administer and configure firewalls in the company's infrastructure and ensure secure operation of wireless communication (Wi-Fi);
- perform continuous monitoring of network traffic and equipment status and promptly respond to security or operational incidents;
- ensure regular backups of network equipment configurations and readiness to restore them in the event of an incident;
- plan and carry out updates of network equipment operating systems and software, systematically eliminating security gaps;
- organize telephone and other communications maintenance, installation and maintenance of communication lines;
- supervise projects related to communications equipment, control and supervise the work performed by contractors and subcontractors;
- prepare, update and maintain telecommunications and communications network documentation.
IMPORTANT FOR THIS POSITION:
- knowledge of the principles of computer network infrastructure operation, experience with virtualization platforms;
- valid international IT network certificate;
- at least 1 year of work experience in the field of administration, maintenance and development of information systems networks;
- knowledge of the installation, maintenance and administration of computer and software of information systems;
- be able to set clear requirements for external suppliers, check the quality of the work performed;
- document network configuration changes in a structured manner;
- higher education (in the field of IT and telecommunications);
- category B driver's license;
- impeccable reputation according to the requirements of the Law on Aviation of the Republic of Lithuania.
