Nature of work:
We are currently looking for an IT Manager to join the team, who would be responsible for managing and developing the IT function in Lithuania and Latvia - from the reliable operation of IT infrastructure and business systems to IT strategy, digitalization, automation and the implementation of new technological solutions.
- To form a long-term IT strategy, development direction and priorities in Akropolio Group companies, taking into account the needs of the organization and different business functions;
- To ensure the smooth operation, reliability, security and timely updating of IT infrastructure and business-critical systems;
- To initiate and manage IT, digitalization, automation and process optimization projects;
- To cooperate with finance, leasing, marketing, HR and other teams, to propose technological solutions that could simplify processes, reduce manual work and increase efficiency;
- To assess the systems used, their capabilities, integrations and the need to update or supplement them with new solutions;
- Manage external IT partners and suppliers, assess their proposed solutions, costs and potential risks;
- Plan and manage IT budget and technological investments;
- Control and ensure cybersecurity within the group of companies;
- Assess the organization's relevant opportunities for applying new technologies, automation and AI and initiate the implementation of meaningful solutions.
Requirements:
- You have at least 4 years of experience as an IT manager, responsible for the IT function of the organization;
- You are able to independently assess technical solutions and the risks associated with them - in the areas of cybersecurity, infrastructure reliability, business continuity and system and technology upgrades;
- You have initiated and implemented digitalization, automation or process optimization projects that have helped reduce manual work and increase operational efficiency;
- You have experience in forming a long-term IT strategy, managing the IT budget and external IT suppliers, including negotiations and assessing their proposed solutions and costs;
- You will take on a leadership role, able to mobilize a team for common goals, effectively prioritize activities, make decisions and ensure that strategic and operational goals are achieved within the agreed time and scope;
- You have good knowledge of English.
We will consider it an advantage:
Experience in formulating and implementing IT strategy in shopping malls, retail, real estate management or other similar business environments where high system reliability and direct IT contribution to business results are important. Experience in evaluating, selecting and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) and automation solutions, the ability to link them to business needs and translate them into real benefits for the organization through more efficient processes, data-driven solutions and improved customer experience.
