About us:
We are looking for an experienced IT analyst who will be independently responsible for assigned information systems: from business need clarification to verifiable requirements and business approval. You will be the liaison between business process owners and the programming team.
During work you:
- Collect and analyze development needs from business process owners and users, clarify the real problem, not just the desired solution;
- Describe the current and desired business process, data flows and business rules;
- Specify requirements and acceptance criteria so that the solution can be implemented and tested without additional explanations;
- Assess the impact of the change on other systems and integrations, determine dependencies;
- Evaluate solution options together with engineers and architects, prepare a business-understandable comparison;
- Prepare acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios, coordinate business testing and collect approvals;
- Maintain documentation of assigned systems: business rules, processes, interfaces and reasons for decisions;
- Analyze support requests, separate errors from new needs and identify systemic problems;
- Consult business users, present implemented solutions and train users;
- You will review the specifications of fellow analysts and share your experiences.
We expect from you:
- At least 2 years of IT business analyst experience in software development;
- Ability to independently conduct analysis of the assigned system from requirement to business approval;
- Knowledge of requirements engineering practices: requirements clarification, acceptance criteria, requirements traceability;
- Experience in business process modeling;
- Understanding of information system integrations and ability to assess the impact of changes on other systems;
- Experience in writing user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria;
- Experience with Jira and Confluence or equivalent tools;
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian, daily work with business users and documentation is done in Lithuanian;
- Good oral and written English.
We will consider the following as an advantage:
- Experience in organizing acceptance testing (UAT);
- Experience in organizing Agile and Scrum work;
- Experience with ERP or business management systems;
- Experience in applying AI tools in analysis work or a desire to grow in this direction.
