Junior Biotechnologist

We are looking for a motivated junior biotechnologist who wants to grow with us and contribute to the work of the downstream team, developing purification processes for gene therapy products and recombinant proteins. You will be expected to:
Development and transfer to production of new purification processes for DNA, recombinant proteins and viral vectors.
Primary isolation and purification of proteins, plasmids and gene therapy products using chromatographic systems and columns.
Various filtration processes: depth filtration, membrane filtration, tangential flow filtration (TFF) and virus filtration.
Characterization of purification processes.
Work in accordance with GLP/GMP requirements and standard operating procedures (SOP).

You have a university degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, biotechnology or a related field.
You are familiar with the basics of chromatography.
You have experience working in a laboratory – we also welcome recent graduates and candidates starting a career in biotechnology.
You are hardworking, responsible and motivated to improve.
You are able to work in a team and flexibly adapt to shift work schedules (morning, evening and night shifts).
You have good written and oral English and are computer literate.
Advantages:
Experience and knowledge in the field of purification of recombinant proteins, viral vectors or plasmids or other relevant laboratory work experience.
Knowledge of GMP / GLP requirements.
