Responsibilities:
- Registering purchase and sales invoices in accounting systems;
- Preparation and submission of statistical reports;
- Verification and control of i.SAF data;
- Administration of fuel accounting and execution of write-offs;
- Participation in the monthly closing process, performing accounting data reconciliations;
- Ensuring the accuracy, validity and compliance of accounting data with the requirements of legal acts;
- Participation in accounting process improvement and digitalization projects;
- Other tasks assigned by the Chief Accountant.
What do we expect from you?
- Higher or higher education in accounting, finance or economics;
- At least 1 year of work experience in accounting;
- Knowledge of the basics of accounting and tax legislation of the Republic of Latvia;
- Knowledge of the basics of VAT accounting;
- Ability to work with a large amount of information, analyze data and ensure its accuracy;
- Good computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel);
- Good English language skills (verbal and written);
- Responsibility, diligence and ability to meet deadlines;
- Ability to independently plan one's work and cooperate in a team.
