We are looking for a Junior Procurement Specialist to join our team and help ensure the smooth running of our daily procurement and supply process.
In this position, you will work with suppliers, purchase orders, quotes, documentation and data. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to deepen their knowledge in the field of purchasing and supply and gain experience in the aviation sector.
Your main responsibilities:
- coordinate simple purchase orders and help ensure their timely execution;
- prepare, administer and track purchase orders;
- administer and update the supplier database;
- help search, select and evaluate suppliers according to the company and aviation industry requirements;
- collect, analyze and compare supplier price offers;
- communicate with suppliers on a daily basis on procurement and order issues;
- verify procurement documents and quality certificates;
- manage and ensure the accuracy of procurement documentation and data;
- record discrepancies and help resolve daily procurement issues;
- collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth procurement and supply process.
What do we expect from you:
- have at least 6 months of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, warehousing or related field;
- have secondary or vocational education; higher education in logistics or related field would be an advantage;
- are familiar with the main procurement, logistics or warehousing processes;
- are good at working with MS Office programs, especially Excel;
- are able to work with information and ERP systems; Odoo experience would be an advantage;
- are fluent in Lithuanian and English;
- are able to analyze information, plan work and communicate with suppliers and colleagues.
We will consider advantages:
- Experience in aviation, manufacturing or other highly regulated field;
- Understanding of technical or quality documentation.
