Nature of work

We are looking for a Junior Area Manager who will be responsible for the development of restaurant managers, administrators and hall team, training new employees for work and implementing uniform performance standards in assigned departments.

In this position, we are looking for someone who not only has excellent knowledge of restaurant operations, but is also able to clearly and understandably transfer their knowledge to others. The most important thing is not only to be able to work yourself, but also to be able to teach others.

The main goal of this position is to help restaurant managers successfully manage daily operations, ensure a high level of service and form a uniform work culture in restaurants.

The work includes regular trips to the assigned company restaurants in Kaunas, Klaipėda and Riga. You will spend most of your working time in restaurants - observing work in real time, consulting managers and teams, noticing areas for improvement and demonstrating by your own example the correct performance of work according to company standards.

Training does not take place during theoretical meetings, but in a real restaurant environment - together with the team during a shift. You will observe daily work, analyze situations, notice details that affect the guest experience, service quality and work efficiency, and help the team improve them in practice.

You will also be responsible for preparing and updating training materials, systematizing work instructions, standards and internal procedures and clearly communicating them to employees.

An important part of the job is to ensure that each employee understands not only how to perform the job, but also why certain standards, procedures and requirements apply.

We are looking for not only a good training specialist, but also a restaurant operations professional who is able to "read the restaurant" and understands the reality of daily work: what it means to have a full restaurant hall, a delayed kitchen, an unevenly distributed team workload, managing customer flows, reducing waiting times and effectively organizing table turnover during peak hours. It is this practical experience that will allow not only to train restaurant managers, but also to help them make better decisions in real situations.

In this position, it is important to be able to earn the authority of the team with your professionalism, practical experience and daily personal example. We are looking for someone who adheres to the highest work standards, knows how to clearly convey their knowledge, motivate the team and help restaurant managers and teams grow.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of managerial experience in the restaurant sector and the ability to develop restaurant managers, administrators and hall team.
  • Excellent knowledge of restaurant hall operations, service standards and daily work organization and the ability to transfer this knowledge in practice.
  • Ability to organize practical training in the workplace, prepare training programs, work instructions and other methodological materials.
  • Practical experience in managing an intensively working restaurant and making operational decisions in real time.
  • Ability to monitor restaurant activities, identify areas for improvement and help teams improve work results in accordance with company standards.
  • Good skills in working with POS systems, internal documents and other digital work tools and the ability to train other employees to use them.
  • Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, occupational safety and other legal acts regulating restaurant activities and the ability to ensure compliance with them.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and understandably, convey complex information in a simple way and be the main consultant for restaurant managers and teams.
  • Ability to create a structured training system and consistently develop employee competencies.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring and communication skills and the ability to earn the authority of the team through their professionalism and personal example.
  • Ability to independently plan work and regularly travel to different departments.
  • Category B driver's license.
  • Good knowledge of English.

The company offers

  • Responsible and dynamic work in a growing restaurant chain.
  • A company car for work between company departments.
  • The opportunity to directly contribute to the development of restaurant standards, the training of new managers and teams, and the improvement of performance.
  • Competitive salary and motivational system.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • A friendly, professional and supportive team.
  • Freedom to initiate and implement performance improvement solutions.
  • Meals during work.
