Junior Maintenance Engineer

UAB “Optonas” develops and manufactures optical components used in international high-tech and scientific projects. We are currently looking for a junior maintenance engineer who wants to learn, grow and, together with the team, ensure the smooth operation of production and technical equipment.

Experience is not the most important criterion for this position. We are looking for someone with technical curiosity, initiative and a desire to improve. During the first months of work, you will work together with an experienced manager and team who will help you master the specifics of the work, transfer practical knowledge and help you grow professionally.

✅Participated in planning and organizing technical services and repairs.
✅You will maintain and diagnose production and auxiliary equipment.
✅You will help develop and improve technical maintenance processes.
✅You will communicate with equipment manufacturers and technical service partners.
✅You will contribute to solutions that improve the performance and reliability of equipment.
✅You will learn from experienced colleagues and gradually take on more and more responsibility.

✅ Technical or engineering education (or in the final stage of studies).
✅ Interest in mechanics, electrical engineering, automation or technical processes.
✅ Ability to read technical documentation.
✅ Knowledge of English.
✅ Willingness to learn, grow and solve technical challenges.

Not required, but an advantage:

✅Experience in equipment maintenance or repair.
✅Additional foreign languages.
