About us:

BTL Group unites over 3000 employees in more than 50 companies operating in the sectors of international freight forwarding and forwarding, real estate, accommodation, ferry, bridge and tunnel ticketing. We are currently expanding our legal team and invite JUNIOR LAWYER to join us.

Nature of work:

  • Independently or with the help of a lawyer or group leader, or department head, prepare, check, analyze and coordinate simple draft contracts (transport, logistics, real estate lease, services, contracting, cooperation, etc.);
  • With the help of a lawyer or group leader, or department head, prepare, check, analyze and coordinate complex draft contracts (transport, logistics, real estate lease, services, contracting, cooperation, etc.);
  • Independently provide legal assistance and consultations to company employees on everyday, simple legal issues within their competence;
  • Prepare legal conclusions, letters, claims, responses to inquiries, other legal documents, their drafts;
  • Participate in negotiations with clients, suppliers, partners together with other company representatives or managers;
  • Monitor changes in legal acts related to the company's activities (logistics, transport, real estate), inform the direct manager and make proposals for their implementation;
  • Help ensure that the company's activities comply with the requirements of legal acts;
  • Participate in dispute prevention, collect and analyze information to resolve disputes, cooperate with external lawyers;
  • Participate in court, arbitration, institutional or other third party processes as assigned;
  • Manage and systematize legal documents, contracts, cases, archives.

Requirements:

  • Higher education in law;
  • Similar work experience is an advantage;
  • Experience in the fields of migration and labor law regulation in Lithuania and (or) abroad is an advantage.
  • Experience in international transport and logistics is an advantage;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (from B2 level);
  • Time planning and independent work organization skills;
  • Ability to promptly and reasonedly identify risks, make proposals and make decisions.
