JAVA Senior Programmer

We are looking for a colleague who:

• develops integration solutions, individual components and integration interfaces with state register information systems and other information systems operating in the company (Java, PL/SQL);
• makes technical system design decisions and performs programming work;
• develops and improves interfaces between information systems;
• uses the Git versioning system for effective code management and team collaboration;
• develops and supports continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) solutions, automating testing, compilation and deployment processes;
• shares good software development practices and provides suggestions for new technical solutions;
• writes clean, high-quality, easily maintainable and testable code;
• resolve information systems incidents and perform support work independently and in collaboration with other teams;
• contribute to the implementation of information systems version implementation processes and their improvement;
• actively participate in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) processes and collaborate with programmers, testers, analysts and project managers.

In this position, we require:

• higher university degree or equivalent;
• at least 3 years of work experience in Java programming (version 8 or later), of which at least 2 years working with integration solutions;
• experience in designing, developing and maintaining large-scale information systems;
• excellent Oracle PL/SQL knowledge and practical experience in optimizing database performance;
• experience in designing and implementing integration interfaces and web services (REST, SOAP);
• Knowledge of Spring Boot and/or Struts and other components of the Java technology ecosystem;
• excellent skills in working with version control systems (Git, GitLab, etc.);
• practical experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD processes;
• work experience with Docker, S3, Maven and other modern software development and deployment technologies would be an advantage;
• experience in conducting code reviews, implementing good programming practices and ensuring the quality of the developed code;
• ability to consult, develop and mentor team members with less experience;
• knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies;
• ability to analyze complex technical problems, make reasoned decisions and take responsibility for their implementation;
• ability to express thoughts fluently and correctly in Lithuanian and proficiency in English at least at B2 level;
• compliance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Protection of Objects Important for Ensuring National Security;

Salary:

• 3,086 - 4,630 Eur/month. excluding taxes. The exact salary will depend on your competence and professional experience.
