DEPUTY MANAGER OF JD STORE - VILNIUS, AKROPOLIS

Job Description: As part of the Store Management Team, you will assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. You will perform a variety of tasks and ensure that the store's KPIs are met. In the Manager's absence, you will be the first point of contact in the store and motivate employees to sell and serve customers in accordance with JD SPORTS FASHION PLC standards in order to exceed set sales targets.

Customer Service

• Ensure that customers are treated with care and respect throughout their visit
• Handle complaints and inquiries professionally and as quickly as possible
• Ensure that employees’ appearance and dress code meet company standards
• Be familiar with the Mystery Shopper program and customer satisfaction surveys

Sales

• Ensure that targets are met and, where possible, exceeded
• Understand and explain internal store reports
• Use in-store equipment and ensure that employees use it as well, where possible
• Be able to analyze store footfall, average transaction value and conversion

Merchandising

• Attract, engage and encourage customers to purchase products using the latest merchandising methods
• Ensure that the points specified in the weekly instruction are implemented
• Ensure correct prices for all products, implementation of price changes and proper display of products at the Point of Sale
• Constantly ensure cleanliness and orderly display of products

Training and Development

• Develop employees and promote their professional development
• Monitor the Training and Development website and track employee progress based on the results of electronic training courses (E-Assessments)
• Participate in the employee selection process and new employee induction training and further training

Required skills/experience/knowledge

• Management experience in retail, at least 1 year.
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• English language skills required (speaking, reading, writing)
