We are looking for a Junior Project Accountant to join Metso team in Vilnius.
Responsibilities
- Timely projects creation and closure
- Managing projects master data
- Participation in projects period end closing and validation
- Preparation of assigned monthly reports
- Project plan copying to the system
- Perform other assigned Project Accounting procedures
- Process miscellaneous transactions and ensure that all entries are recorded
- Handle inquires from Project Controllers and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Assist to perform internal controls
- Cooperate with Project Accountants and Controllers on Project Accounting related questions and issues
- Participate and support improvements projects, changes implementation
Basic requirements for the position
- Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in accounting, finance or similar business degree
- Basic accounting understanding
- Customer service mindset, problem solving skills
- Fast learner
- Strong analytical mindset
- Flexibility in adapting to fast-paced environment and changes
- High level of responsibility, attention to details
- Teamwork and co-operation skills in a cross-cultural organization
- Advanced written and oral English
