Charity and support fund "Food Bank" - one of the largest non-governmental organizations in Lithuania.
The main goal of our activities is to save as much usable food as possible from being thrown away and transfer it to those in need.
The "Food Bank" team is looking for a KAUNAS REGION MANAGER to lead one of the largest daily support operations centers in the organization, where tons of food products are collected and distributed for support every day, social cards are distributed, and various aid projects are implemented.
The main goal of our activities is to save as much usable food as possible from being thrown away and transfer it to those in need.
The "Food Bank" team is looking for a KAUNAS REGION MANAGER to lead one of the largest daily support operations centers in the organization, where tons of food products are collected and distributed for support every day, social cards are distributed, and various aid projects are implemented.
We will trust you:
- Leading the Kaunas regional team, organizing the activities of the Food Bank throughout the region;
- Preparing annual department activity plans and their smooth implementation;
- Promoting and coordinating food and fundraising projects;
- Ensuring the receipt, proper storage and distribution of the Food Bank's food support;
- Representing the Food Bank in the Kaunas region in communication with representatives of state institutions, businesses, non-governmental organizations, and the media;
- Maintaining close and long-term relationships with existing partners;
- Recruiting, developing, and motivating a team of 23 employees, implementing a supportive culture of cooperation;
- Promoting awareness of volunteering and creating a volunteer community.
We want to get to know you if:
- You have experience in leading a team or managing complex projects;
- You think strategically when planning activities and are able to properly distribute tasks to the team, taking responsibility for all the results of your own and the team's work;
- You are distinguished by social courage and excellent negotiation and communication skills;
- You adapt flexibly to changing circumstances and are able to mobilize a team in stressful situations;
- If you are close to solving social problems;
- If you know the NGO sector well, we consider this an advantage;
- You own and drive a category B car.
