Passenger Screening and Airport Security Specialist

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- check persons, their hand luggage and personal belongings, cargo hold luggage, vehicles;
- ensure control of persons and vehicles entering the airport's controlled area;
- patrol and monitor the airport territory;
- regulate passenger flows in the aerodrome territory and in the passenger terminal.
IMPORTANT FOR THIS POSITION:
- work experience in customer service, security or other related fields;
- motivation to learn and improve in the field of aviation security;
- responsibility, positivity, excellent communication skills, flexibility;
- B category driver's license and the ability to independently come to work in Karmėlava;
- knowledge of foreign languages (preferably English);
- at least secondary education;
- ability to work on a rotating shift schedule (including early hours);
- impeccable reputation according to the requirements of the Law on Aviation of the Republic of Lithuania (checked before employment).
SALARY AND SCHEDULE:
3 levels of hourly wage are paid:
Working in one shift (after 12 hours) with the following schedule:
4 working days + 4 days off.
Shift working hours can start from 4:00-11:00 AM and end from 4:00-11:00 PM. The schedule may also include night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (on average 3-4 times per month). The specific work schedule is drawn up a month in advance.
- 9.10 EUR/hour before taxes (~980 EUR/month in hand) – upon joining the team
- 9.60 EUR/hour before taxes (~1060 EUR/month in hand) – upon completing training and passing part of the aviation security exams
- 10.90 EUR/hour before taxes (~1230 EUR/month in hand) – upon passing all the required aviation security exams
