We are looking for a manager to manage the newly established Passenger Transportation Department at Vilnius Airport. In this position, you will be responsible for the smooth organization of passenger transportation on the apron, team building, and ensuring the highest safety and service standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- create and develop the Passenger Transportation Department's operating model and ensure smooth daily operations of the department;
- organize and coordinate passenger bus transportation operations on the apron;
- form, develop and lead a team of drivers and shift managers;
- plan work schedules, allocate resources and ensure efficient execution of operations;
- ensure the highest standards of safety, quality and passenger service;
- analyze activities, identify improvement opportunities and implement efficiency-increasing solutions;
- cooperate with other airport departments and partners.
IMPORTANT FOR THIS POSITION:
- experience in management work in transport, logistics, operations or similar field;
- ability to organize team work, plan processes and make decisions in a rapidly changing environment;
- experience in managing operational activities and coordinating daily processes;
- strong team management, communication and organizational skills;
- focus on passenger experience, service quality and service culture;
- ability to effectively solve practical situations and ensure business continuity;
- knowledge of English (written and oral);
- higher education (in transport, logistics, management or similar field - an advantage);
- reputation compliance with the requirements of the Law on Aviation of the Republic of Lithuania.
