Nature of work
- Application of integrative medicine methods, ensuring professional and comprehensive care for oncological patients.
- Careful assessment of the patient's physical and emotional well-being before each procedure, taking into account their medical history and currently applied active treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery).
- Drawing up an individual physiotherapy plan and selecting appropriate procedures and massage methods to alleviate the patient's condition at different stages of healing.
- Performing and conducting individual and group physiotherapy sessions and different therapies (oxygen, light, hyperthermia therapies).
- Close and professional cooperation with the clinic's oncologists, physiotherapists and psychologists, achieving a common goal - the patient's well-being.
- Sincere communication, consultation and provision of professional recommendations, helping patients maintain better well-being and health.
- Fostering a comfortable, calm and emotionally safe environment during procedures, in which the patient can relax.
Employee requirements
- Have a valid physiotherapist or massage therapist license (medical education or physiotherapist qualification is a great advantage).
- Understand the specifics of oncological treatment, indications and contraindications. Experience working with oncological patients, certification in this field or knowledge of rehabilitation methods is a great advantage.
- Know specific lymphostasis treatment methods and care for tissue damage caused by radiological fibrosis. Have a strong theoretical understanding and desire to apply this knowledge in practice.
- Be characterized by empathy, the ability to create a secure connection, listen to and psychologically support patients during an emotionally difficult and vulnerable stage of their lives.
- Be oriented towards teamwork, continuous improvement in the field of integral medicine and modern physical therapy methods.
