About us:
The IT department of UAB "Agrokoncerno grupė" invites an IT professional to join its team.
We are looking for a QA engineer who will build a quality system from the ground up: he will not take over the existing process, but will define the testing strategy, automation direction and release control gates for the entire portfolio of the company's information systems. You will decide whether the change is ready for production.

You will decide whether the change is ready for production.
What are you going to do:
- Develop and maintain a testing strategy and quality standards for the company's information systems;
- Design and automate regression tests, integrate them into the CI/CD chain;
- Define and apply release control and decide when a change is ready for production;
- Plan the test scope based on the risk of the change, perform functional, integration and regression testing;
- Record, investigate and reproduce defects, provide clear feedback to engineers and verify fixes;
- Prepare and maintain test environments and test data for different systems;
- Coordinate business acceptance testing (UAT): environments, data, scenarios;
- Determine what is tested manually, what is automated and what checks are required before releasing to production;
- Analyze production incidents from a quality perspective and translate them into test coverage improvements;
- You will work in an Agile rhythm together with programmers, IT analysts and business representatives: planning, daily meetings, retrospectives.
We hope:
- At least 3 years of software testing experience, of which at least 2 with test automation;
- Experience with automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or equivalent);
- Ability to test PHP-based systems (PHPUnit experience would be an advantage);
- API testing experience (REST, SOAP) and SQL knowledge to prepare test data and verify results;
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and ability to design effective tests based on change risk;
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian, daily work with business users and documentation is done in Lithuanian;
- Good command of English, both spoken and written;
- Attention to detail and initiative in finding problems before users notice them.
We will consider advantages:
- Understanding of CI/CD chains and experience integrating automated tests into them;
- Fundamentals of performance or security testing (OWASP);
- Experience with Jira and Confluence;
- Experience in testing the application of AI tools or a desire to grow in this direction.
