UAB Stora Enso Lietuva, part of the Southern European wood products manufacturing group, is currently looking for a new team member in the quality department to work in Alytus.
In this position, you will spend most of your working time in production, checking the quality of the manufactured products and ensuring their compliance with the requirements. We hope that you will be curious and want to delve into the quality process and continuous quality improvement. You will work a full-time schedule from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure that the manufactured products meet the established quality requirements.
- Educate employees in the field of quality.
- Continuously improve the main quality parameters.
- Check testing, sorting and measuring equipment (e.g. moisture meters) to achieve the accuracy of the results.
- Control that the responsible operators perform the necessary tests, check the results, provide conclusions and respond to unusual product batches.
- Assist the quality manager in conducting quality audits, inspecting production lines and equipment in order to identify potential and correct existing risks, and ensure quality compliance.
- Participate in quality meetings and investigations of production non-conformities in order to determine causes, corrective and preventive measures.
- Assist in preparing for new and existing product certification processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
Requirements
- At least higher education.
- Knowledge of the wood production process (advantage).
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work with different people and desire to improve.
- Initiative, responsibility, diligence and analytical thinking.
- Excellent knowledge of the Lithuanian language.
- Knowledge of the English language.
- IT skills (Microsoft office package, Excel used daily).
