We are looking for a responsible and proactive Quality Manager who would join the Laboratory Diagnostics Department team and together create and foster high quality standards in the daily activities of the laboratory. If this is close to you, we invite you to apply!
Nature of work:
- Supervise, administer and improve the quality management system of the medical laboratory, ensuring its compliance with the requirements of the LST EN ISO 15189:2022 standard and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania;
- Prepare, administer and update quality management documentation and coordinate the management of non-conformities, incidents, corrective and preventive actions;
- Analyze customer and patient complaints, assess operational risks, quality indicators, prepare reports and make proposals for improving operations and processes;
- Supervise the processes of providing laboratory test results and data transfer, monitor the quality of eLAB data, analyze errors and cooperate with information system administrators in resolving data quality and integration issues;
- Consult and train employees on quality management issues, strengthen the quality culture in the organization and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Employee requirements:
- Higher university education in biomedicine, life sciences, health sciences or another related field (medical biology, laboratory medicine, etc.);
- At least 1–2 years of work experience in the field of quality management, laboratory diagnostics or healthcare (an advantage) and experience working with laboratory and health information systems (eLAB, MNKV IS, ESPBI IS, etc.) is an advantage;
- Knowledge of the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the activities of medical laboratories and the requirements of the LST EN ISO 15189:2022 standard, knowledge of the principles of quality management systems, risk and non-conformity management;
- Ability to administer a quality management system, prepare documentation, analyze data, prepare reports and submit proposals for process improvement, good computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel);
- Excellent command of the state language;
- Responsibility, diligence, analytical thinking, ability to independently plan, organize work and collaborate with a team.
We offer:
- Salary of 3264 EUR per month before taxes (working at full capacity);
- Opportunity to participate in qualification improvement courses, trainings and other qualification improvement events periodically organized by the institution free of charge (during courses and trainings, the average salary is paid);
- Extended annual leave (28 working days per year), 3 paid days off per year to improve health and 2 paid days off per year for self-education or volunteering;
- Opportunity to work part-time from home (by agreement 1-2 days per week);
- Employee events, ambassadorship program.
