We are looking for a Commercial Manager who would feel equally strong in both wholesale and retail channels – from strategy development and implementation to customer relations, team management and profitable business growth.
This is a role for someone who sees sales not as separate transactions, but as a single business result, for which they take full responsibility – both in wholesale and retail.

What you will do in this role:

  • You will develop and implement a commercial strategy in both channels – wholesale and retail – focused on customer base, sales, margin and profit growth.
  • You will lead the sales region managers and the retail manager – you will consult, develop and motivate them to achieve commercial goals.
  • You will ensure the implementation of the results set and delegated tasks for the departments and accountability for budget control.
  • You will analyze market trends, competitor actions, prices and assortment changes, identify sales opportunities and plans for their implementation.
  • You will maintain and develop relationships with the company's most important customers, form a customer base, organize regular meetings and cooperation plans.
  • You will ensure high quality customer service – through constant monitoring and specific action plans to improve it.
  • You will negotiate commercial terms, prepare and manage trade agreements, and supervise the fulfillment of obligations.
  • You will manage customer solvency risk, control settlements and collection of overdue debts.
  • You will analyze key KPIs, prepare forecasts, provide insights and suggestions for commercial efficiency and process improvement.
  • You will work closely with product development, logistics, marketing, e. commerce and other teams.
  • You will regularly report to management and contribute to strategic commercial decision-making.
  • You will represent the company and contribute to creating a unified, strong image of the retail chain.

What do we expect from you:

  • Higher education in management, economics, commerce or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, commerce or category management, including experience leading a sales team.
  • Experience in developing sales strategy, making pricing decisions and managing customer and supplier relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills, ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of information, see the bigger picture of the business and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written English skills (Russian is an advantage).
  • Independence, responsibility, result orientation and willingness to initiate change.
  • Experience in wholesale or retail trade, procurement, e-commerce or electronics / IT sector would be a great advantage.
