In this position, you will:
We expect that you:

- Lead the Communication and Events Group;
- Develop and implement the Institute's strategic communication, public relations and reputation management directions;
- Develop and implement a long-term communication, reputation building and audience development strategy;
- Ensure smooth and consistent internal and external communication of the Institute;
- Prepare press releases, speeches, public statements and other representative content;
- Coordinate the Institute's communication on social networks and contribute to content creation;
- Organize the Institute's representation at events, develop partnerships and relationships with external audiences;
- Initiate new communication solutions and maintain active cooperation with the media;
- Consult and cooperate with other departments of the Institute on communication issues.
We expect that you:
- You have a university degree or equivalent in communication, public relations, marketing, journalism or another related field; a degree in history would be an advantage;
- You have at least 3 years of experience in communication, public relations or reputation management, including managing internal and external communication, preparing official texts and press releases and coordinating communication during events;
- You are fluent in Lithuanian and English;
- You are good at working with computers, using modern digital technologies and AI tools;
- You are able to work independently, make decisions, are proactive, initiative and have excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in leading a team would be an advantage.

The Institute's scientists actively cooperate with the international academic community, publish scientific publications, implement national and international projects, and contribute to the dissemination of historical knowledge in society. We are currently inviting the Head of the Communication and Events Group to join the Institute's team, who will form and implement the Institute's communication strategy, strengthen its reputation, and help present the Institute's activities to various audiences.
