Competition information

We are announcing a competition for the position of Head of the Communication and Marketing Department of the Physical and Technological Sciences Center (FTMC). Key position responsibilities

  • Develop and implement FTMC's communication and marketing strategy
  • Strengthen FTMC's image in Lithuania and internationally, implementing innovative communication tools
  • Plan and manage the department's activities, budget, public relations
  • Lead the team, set goals and ensure their achievement
  • Represent FTMC in cooperation with other institutions, companies and partners

We hope that the candidates' "basket" of competencies includes:

  • Higher university education
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of communication and/or marketing
  • At least 2 years of team management experience
  • Experience in developing and implementing communication and marketing strategies
  • Excellent management, planning and leadership skills
  • Creativity, strategic thinking and initiative
  • Excellent command of Lithuanian, English – at least C1 level

Salary

3596-4028 €/mon. gross
The fixed salary range is indicated. The specific salary is offered based on work experience and competence. A variable remuneration component may be paid in addition to the salary.

The State Research Institute Physical and Technological Sciences Center (FTMC) is the largest research institution in Lithuania, carrying out unique research and technological development works in laser technologies, optoelectronics, nuclear physics, organic chemistry, bio and nanotechnology, electrochemical materials science, functional materials, electronics and in other fields of science. Not only high-level science is developed here, but also modern technologies useful for business and society are created.

FTMC was established in 2010. 2010 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania March 17 by resolution no. 302 after reorganizing the Institutes of Chemistry, Physics and Semiconductor Physics in Vilnius and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania in 2011. December 21 by resolution no. 1500 after reorganizing and connecting the Textile Institute in Kaunas. The institution, which has successfully combined different branches of science, has become one of the leading scientific institutions in the country within a few years.
