We are looking for a pastry chef to work in a cake and dessert studio in Vilnius.

This is a position for someone who has experience in pastry, is meticulous, responsible, fast and wants to contribute to the creation of beautiful desserts and daily work with customers.

Job description:

• Preparing cakes, desserts, lazy and other baked goods according to our recipes;
• Preparing, weighing and preparing ingredients for work;
• Decorating desserts and ensuring aesthetic presentation;
• Packaging products;
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace;
• Customer service and working with the cash register;
• Other daily tasks in the cake and dessert studio.

Work is carried out on a sliding schedule, working hours are 9:00–19:00.

We expect the candidate to:

• Have work experience in a pastry shop or kitchen;
• Understand the basic pastry processes: weighing ingredients, preparing creams, baking, assembling and decorating cakes/desserts;
• Be able to work according to recipes and follow the established workflow;
• Be able to independently perform at least some of the pastry work;
• Be responsible, meticulous and attentive to details;
• Be able to work quickly, neatly and efficiently;
• Have a sense of aesthetics, creativity or artistic flair – this is a great advantage;
• Be fluent in Lithuanian and Russian;
• Be punctual, tidy and approach work responsibly;
• No bad habits.

We give preference to candidates who already have practical experience in pastry and can independently perform daily tasks according to recipes.

The specific salary depends on experience, work speed, independence, and ability to perform pastry and production tasks. Salary may increase with acquired skills and responsibilities.
