We are currently inviting a Head of the Structural Department to join the Sweco community!

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

• Ensure high-quality structural design for clients – from planning to the final result, in compliance with deadlines, budget and quality requirements
• Make decisions in complex situations, manage risks, project deadlines and budget
• Be a strong team leader: inspire, mobilize and grow a team of designers, create a culture of high competence and cooperation
• Actively contribute to team building – attracting, developing and integrating new colleagues
• Build long-term relationships with clients and be a reliable partner throughout the project
• Collaborate with other teams and partners to achieve the best solutions for the client

CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS

• Higher education in civil engineering
• 7-9 years of work experience in the field of design
• Successful experience in leading a team and implementing projects
• Strategic thinking and the ability to see the “bigger picture”
• Leadership, strong communication and decision-making skills
• Result orientation, customer and team success
• Good knowledge of English (verbal and written)
• Personal qualities: openness change, proactivity, involvement, cooperation, ability to work in a team
