Hi-steel is an international metalworking company that produces high-value-added components for the automotive industry. Our parts reach global car manufacturers and their supply chains such as Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Benteler, etc.

We are currently recruiting a DESIGNER to join our team who wants to turn their technical knowledge into real production solutions - from drawing and design to a part or equipment in production.

This position is suitable for both those with technical experience and those who have graduated or are in their final year of studies and want to start a career as a designer.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• You will read, analyze, prepare and correct technical and structural drawings, taking into account customer orders and production technology;
• You will prepare structural documentation for production;
• You will design and improve technological equipment: dies, calipers, welding equipment and other production solutions;
• Looking for structural solutions that would ensure product quality, functionality and efficient production process;
• Collaborating with colleagues from production, projects and other departments to solve technical issues;
• Participate in new projects and product implementation processes carried out by the company;
• Contribute to the improvement of existing structures and production solutions.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• Have a technical / engineering education (in mechanical, production engineering or similar field);
• Have at least 1 year of work experience as a designer - would be a great advantage;
• Be able to independently read, analyze and understand technical drawings;
• Have an understanding of sheet metal processing (stamping);
• Work well with AutoCAD and / or SolidWorks;
• Have good MS Office / Excel skills;
• Be able to work with technical documentation in English;
• Knowledge of German would be an additional advantage;
• Be responsible, meticulous, proactive and able to make technical decisions independently;
• Be able to plan your work and effectively cooperate in a team.

Experience is not necessary - the most important thing is the desire to learn, technical thinking and motivation to grow in the position of designer.

1653-2490 €/mon. gross
The salary is negotiated individually, taking into account your professional experience, competencies and suitability for the position.
