Nature of work
Job Description
- Design LABA7 devices: from individual parts and assemblies to complete systems
- Create neat 3D models and prepare working drawings for production
- Select materials, components and manufacturing technologies
- Perform engineering calculations (strength, stiffness, forces)
- Search for the latest technologies and apply them in our products
- Collaborate with electronics, programming and manufacturing teams
- Maintain a neat system of drawings, specifications and revisions
Employee requirements
Requirements for the employee
A big advantage:
- Mechanical engineering education
- At least 4 years of design experience
- Excellent SolidWorks skills (required)
- Experience with sheet steel, milling, turning, metal and plastic parts
- Knowledge of materials and their properties
- Ability to quickly and neatly create 3D models and drawings according to standards (tolerances, - - surface roughness, welding markings)
- Independence: when given a task, you are able to solve it from start to finish
- Good understanding of general engineering and willingness to learn
- English (for reading technical documentation and communicating with suppliers)
A big advantage:
- Knowledge of electric motors, linear drives, ball screws or other dynamic systems
- Experience with FEA calculations (e.g., SolidWorks Simulation)
- Experience when creating devices, stands or automation solutions
