Cargo Claims Administration Specialist

Your main responsibilities:
- Administer and investigate cargo damage cases from their registration to final settlement;
- Assess the validity of received documents, analyze the circumstances and prepare responses to clients and partners;
- Cooperate with insurance companies, brokers, carriers, clients and other interested parties in order to promptly and effectively resolve claims issues;
- Participate in negotiations and the investigation of disputes related to cargo damage and carrier liability;
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry and administration in information systems;
- Provide recommendations on damage prevention and risk management.
Employee requirements:
- Higher university education;
- At least 2 years of work experience in claims administration, insurance, transport or logistics (an advantage);
- Good knowledge of the CMR Convention and its application in practice;
- Ability to analyze documents, make reasoned decisions and prepare official correspondence;
- Fluent communication in Lithuanian and good knowledge of English (knowledge of Russian would be an advantage);
- Responsibility, diligence, result-oriented and ability to effectively manage several tasks at once;
- Good computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook).
