We are looking for a new colleague in the Flight Development team to be entrusted with the development of cargo operations, ensuring smooth cooperation with partners, and searching for new cargo business opportunities. This is a newly created position, aimed at implementing the long-term cargo strategy of Lithuanian airports.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop cargo business development opportunities with airlines, freight forwarders, integrators, e-commerce companies and other cargo market representatives;
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing partners in order to ensure smooth operations and increase revenues;
- Contribute to the long-term cargo strategy by identifying and developing new revenue sources and services;
- Prepare and present commercially sound proposals to clients;
- Negotiate until the conclusion of commercial contracts and administer the concluded contracts;
- Represent Lithuanian Airports at sector events and meetings;
- Cooperate closely with internal company teams, ensuring the compatibility of the company's operational goals;
- Perform market and competitive environment analysis in order to identify new opportunities and expand cargo activities;
- Monitor performance indicators and provide reports and proposals for operational optimization.
IMPORTANT FOR THIS POSITION:
- At least 3 years of work experience in the fields of cargo business development, sales, forwarding (experience in the aviation cargo business would be a great advantage);
- Orientation to commercial results, proven experience in conducting negotiations;
- Knowledge of cargo transportation on scheduled and irregular (ad hoc) flights and the peculiarities of cargo ground handling activities;
- Proactivity, effective work planning, priority management;
- Strong knowledge of English (fluent written and spoken communication);
- Higher education (an advantage - in the fields of business, management, logistics);
- Compliance of reputation with the requirements of the Law on Aviation of the Republic of Lithuania.
