ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a laboratory technician to join our team, who would contribute to the execution and quality control of the etching process of glass samples. ABOUT THE COMPANY
We are a machine tool manufacturer and technology partner from product idea to final equipment production. We supply high-precision laser micromachining technologies to semiconductor, photonics, medical, automotive, aerospace and other industries. We believe that complex laser processes can be made accessible to specialists in other fields. Therefore, we create products that are sufficiently complex in engineering terms, but easy to use even for non-laser or photonics specialists. In addition to equipment production, we also provide manufacturing services using our own machine tools — we design and manufacture glass microcomponents according to customer needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of chemical mixtures and execution of the etching process of glass samples;
- Assembly of glasses for the etching procedure and initial washing of samples;
- Microscopic inspection of manufactured components and recording of results (initial inspection);
- Working with daily laboratory equipment (ovens, ultrasonic baths, fume cupboards, microscopes);
- Laboratory maintenance — ordering necessary materials, maintenance of equipment, maintaining order.
WHAT WE EXPECT
- You are a 3rd-4th year student in a chemistry, physics, materials science or similar field of study;
- Diligence, responsibility and ability to follow precise procedures;
- Ability to work both individually and in a team;
- Desire to acquire new skills, learn and improve.
NOT NECESSARY, BUT WE WOULD APPRECIATE IT
- Experience in a chemical laboratory;
- Experience in metrology and quality control;
- Ability to read drawings prepared in CAD software;
- Good command of English.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Place of work — Keramikų g. 2, Vilnius (near Saulėtekis). Work in the laboratory, with the possibility of combining work schedule with studies
WE OFFER

- Salary from 1600 to 2200 EUR (gross) (for full-time), depending on competencies;
