We are looking for a Heat Pump Laboratory Engineer to join our R&D (Research & Development) team and be responsible for heat pump testing, quality assurance, and product development.
This is a position for an engineer who has good analytical thinking, can do practical work in a laboratory and wants to contribute to the development of high-efficiency renewable energy products. The job position is technical, responsible and has a significant impact on the quality of the Company's products.
As a laboratory engineer, you will work on the development of new heat pump models and the improvement of existing ones. You will perform tests of efficiency (COP, SCOP) and other technical parameters, analyze the results, and provide suggestions for product optimization. You will cooperate with the mechanical, electronics, software, and product management teams. As the company expands, there is an opportunity to become a laboratory manager.

🔥 What will you do in this job?
- Perform laboratory tests of heat pumps under various operating conditions.
- Perform efficiency (COP, SCOP) measurements according to EN 14511, EN 14825 or other applicable standards.
- Test and analyze pressure, temperature, flow rates, electricity consumption, refrigerant parameters.
- Participate in testing and development of prototypes of new models.
- Prepare detailed test reports and technical documentation.
- Analyze data and provide suggestions for optimizing design or control algorithms.
- Ensure product compliance with EU energy efficiency and safety requirements.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, measuring instruments and test environment and ensure laboratory operability.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of automated testing systems.
- Work with electrical energy management systems (EMS), electrical inverter teams to integrate pumps with energy systems.
🎯 What do we expect from you?
- Higher education in mechanics, thermal engineering, energy or related field.
- Understanding of thermodynamics, refrigeration cycles and heat exchange processes.
- Ability to analyze efficiency indicators and experimental data.
- 1 year of practical experience working with measurement and testing equipment (temperature, pressure, flow, power analyzers, electrical parameters) or working in a laboratory in a similar field.
- Ability to read technical drawings and systems.
- Analytical thinking, diligence and responsible approach to documentation.
- Ability to work in a team and cooperate with engineers from different fields.
- English - good oral and written knowledge (required).
Advantages for this position:
- Experience working with inverter compressors.
- Experience in the field of HVAC or heat pumps.
- Knowledge of refrigerants (R32, R290 or others).
- Experience with data acquisition (DAQ) systems.
- Experience in certification or compliance testing process.
