Laboratory engineer

Our client is a technology and engineering company operating in Lithuania that develops and manufactures smart energy solutions. Product development here covers the entire path from prototype and experimental testing to a physical product ready for the market.

Currently, an engineer is invited to join the R&D team who is interested in practically testing how systems work in real conditions, analyzing measurement data and contributing to technical solutions that improve product efficiency and reliability.

Main responsibilities:

• plan and conduct tests of thermal systems and prototypes under different operating conditions;
• evaluate performance, efficiency and other key technical indicators;
• analyze temperature, pressure, flow, energy consumption and other measurement data, prepare reports;
• evaluate test results, find causes of discrepancies and provide technical proposals for product improvement;
• contribute to the validation of new products and their modifications;
• prepare test conclusions, technical reports and related documentation;
• maintain measurement and test equipment and contribute to the improvement of testing processes;
• collaborate with engineers in mechanical, electronic, control and other fields.

What do we expect from you?

• Higher education in mechanics, energy, thermal engineering or a similar technical field;
• Good understanding of the principles of thermodynamics, heat exchange and refrigeration cycles;
• At least 1 year of practical experience performing tests, measurements or working in a technical laboratory environment;
• Ability to analyze experimental data and formulate technical conclusions;
• Ability to read technical diagrams, drawings and understand the principles of system operation;
• Diligence in performing measurements and documenting results;
• Knowledge of English sufficient for working with technical documentation and professional communication.
• Experience in the field of HVAC, refrigeration or other thermal systems is an advantage;
• Knowledge of compressors, refrigeration circuits or refrigerants - an advantage;
• Experience with data acquisition, measurement or automated testing systems - an advantage;
• Understanding of product certification, efficiency or compliance testing - an advantage.

Salary:

2500–3200 eur/month. Gross depending on experience and competencies.
