Ship mechanic

At UAB Vakarų Baltijos laivų statykla we are looking for a ship mechanic for a fixed-term contract (3 months). You will be responsible for:
Checking the compliance of equipment and systems with the design documentation;
Commissioning, testing and checking their proper functioning of equipment and systems, individually or together with suppliers' service engineers;
Informing QC and project managers about the readiness for the delivery of equipment and systems;
Delivery of equipment and systems and participation in the delivery process to responsible persons;
Planning, coordinating work, eliminating identified non-conformities and cooperating with teams participating in the project.

We believe that you would be best suited if you:
Have a shipmaster's diploma;
Have a higher or special secondary education;
Have at least 2 years of work experience as a ship mechanic;
Speak English (high level of speaking and reading is an advantage);
You speak Russian;
You know the rules of ship operation, maintenance and operation standards.
You are able to work in a team and independently;
You are responsible, communicative, have analytical thinking;
You know how to make operational decisions and act constructively in case of failures.
