Nature of work
- Organization and coordination of ship repair, refit and installation works in the ship repair industry;
- Setting long-term and short-term goals of the ship repair department, forming tasks and ensuring the performance of work, and motivating the team;
- Ensuring the execution of work according to deadlines, quality and safety requirements;
- Participation in the planning process of projects, estimates and materials;
- Planning the need and distribution of labor in projects;
- Control of the progress of work at the facilities;
- Tracking progress and debts, solving problems;
- Cooperation with clients, project managers and subcontractors;
- Maintaining relations with existing clients, searching for new clients;
- Negotiations with clients, coordination and approval of contracts;
- Solving technical and organizational issues.
Employee requirements
- Higher technical or engineering education (preferably in naval engineering, mechanics, shipbuilding or similar field);
- At least 3 years of experience in ship repair and construction;
- Team management experience;
- Experience working in shipyards or repair projects;
- Ability to read technical drawings;
- Good knowledge of English (Russian is an advantage);
- Responsibility and leadership qualities;
- Excellent negotiation and time management skills;
- Driver's license category B;
- Ability to go on business trips abroad.
