Femtika is looking for a laser machine operator to join our team, who would operate laser micromachining machines and ensure high-quality production of glass microcomponents. ABOUT THE COMPANY
We are a machine tool manufacturer and technology partner from product idea to final equipment production. We supply high-precision laser micromachining technologies to semiconductor, photonics, medical, automotive, aerospace and other industries. We believe that complex laser processes can be made accessible to specialists in other fields, so we create products that are sufficiently complex in engineering terms, but easy to use even for non-laser or photonics specialists. In addition to equipment production, we also provide manufacturing services using our own machines — we design and manufacture glass microcomponents according to customer needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing, setting up and operating laser micromachining machines for work according to the described processes;
- Reading working drawings, specifications and technological instructions and following them when machining parts;
- Adjusting machine parameters to ensure a stable and accurate machining process;
- Monitoring production progress, deadlines and possible problems, informing about deviations;
- Daily maintenance of machines, maintaining cleanliness and noticing faults;
- Recording production data and completing related documentation;
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in production and laboratory premises;
- Compliance with occupational safety and cleanroom requirements.
WHAT WE EXPECT
- Vocational, higher or technical education (mechanical, engineering or related field is an advantage);
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications;
- Diligence, accuracy and ability to work with small, high-precision details;
- Responsible attitude towards compliance with occupational safety requirements;
- Ability to work independently;
- Willingness to learn and a tendency to seek optimal solutions.
NOT NECESSARY, BUT WE WOULD APPRECIATE IT
- Experience working with CNC or other programmable control machines;
- Experience working in a laboratory/clean room;
- Experience in the field of optics, electronics or micromachining.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work location — Keramikų g. 2, Vilnius. This is a practical job that requires being on site at real laser machines. If necessary, you will work in clean room conditions or with class I lasers, following safety protocols.

- Salary from 1550 to 2200 EUR (gross), depending on experience;
