About the company and the position:
Aktivis Photonics develops advanced laser and photonic systems for the defense industry. Our laser modules are already deployed across Europe - integrated into UAVs, wearables and vehicle-mounted systems. We are developing technology that must work every time in real missions and in challenging conditions.
The Laser Production Operator/Tune-in will be responsible for the precise assembly, testing and calibration of optical assemblies, which directly determine the performance of our products. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented and critical role, ensuring that every laser leaving the lab meets military-grade stability, power and reliability standards.

Nature of work
- Inspection and quality assessment of optical and mechanical components
- Preparation of optical components for use, cleaning
- Assembly of optomechanical assemblies, gluing of components, preparation of laser systems for tuning
- Tuning of laser resonators and fiber expanders
- Calibration and testing of lasers
- Performance of laser-related service operations: fixation of optomechanical assemblies, installation of electronics, sealing of housings, packaging
- Filling in production documentation and ensuring data accuracy
Requirements:
- Have or are currently pursuing an education in the field of engineering sciences (physics, light technology, electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, robotics, etc.) or
- Have work experience in the field of high-tech or photonics product manufacturing
- Have good micromotor skills and enjoy activities such as assembling equipment, soldering, jewelry, embroidery, knitting or other meticulous activities
- Are meticulous, attentive to details and quality-oriented
- Are technically curious - like to fix, create, delve deeper
- Have experience working with lasers - a big advantage
