Lead Incident Detection Engineer

We are building a new team for a new digital bank from scratch! The new security team will ensure resilience of the bank.

As a Lead Incident Detection Engineer, you will be a technical leader and one of the key technical decision-makers shaping our incident detection platform. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will combine deep engineering expertise with architectural thinking and the ability to influence the whole area.

You will not only build solutions yourself — you will shape how we build them.

Every day, you'll be #closer and:

• Build our entire security detection area across cloud platforms, firewalls, servers, and endpoints by leveraging existing tools and building new ones.
• Shape our AI journey by building the infrastructure for agentic SOC.
• Integrate cyber threat intelligence with available detection tools.

To be #closer, you'll bring:

• a background in software development (e.g., Python, Go) or security operations and a solid understanding of modern developer workflows (CI/CD, and IaC).
• being excited about using generative AI to enhance triage and response tooling.
• working knowledge of the current threat landscape and a passion for detection and response work.
• strong problem-solving skills with a deep dive mentality - you don't stop until you understand the why behind a system behavior or security gap.
• You have excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to translate complex technical risks into clear concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
