Nature of work
- Implement the educational content of the Lithuanian language and literature subject in accordance with the school or student's individual educational plan and the general programs of the Lithuanian language and literature subject;
- Convey the educational content of the Lithuanian language and literature in a clear and understandable manner, in correct Lithuanian;
- Plan educational activities;
- Assess students' achievements, monitor, record, analyze the student's personal growth, inform the parents (guardians) of the students and the school principal about their learning progress and achievements;
- Be on duty during breaks or events in accordance with the duty schedule;
- Ensure that the educational content of the Lithuanian language and literature subject complies with the latest general programs and educational policy directions;
- Organize and ensure effective Lithuanian language and literature lessons, applying modern methods and means;
- Cooperate with universities and other institutions in order to ensure high quality of education and share good practice.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of English;
- Have a higher education and pedagogical qualification;
- Fluent in written and oral communication, knowledge of the requirements of language culture, Lithuanian language and clerical rules, requirements for the preparation and formalization of documents;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Creativity in teaching a thematic curriculum in an international environment;
- Experience in integrating the use of iPad and other IT devices into learning;
- At least two years of teaching experience.
