Main responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate cargo transportation by different modes of transport: sea containers, air, land transport and courier services.
- Cooperate with carriers and forwarders, maintain contacts with partners, search for optimal transportation routes, terms and prices.
- Coordinate customs procedures, cooperate with customs brokers, prepare and administer the necessary documents and supervise customs warehouse operations.
- Collect and administer documents received from suppliers necessary for the application of preferential customs duties, including exporter numbers, certificates of origin and other related information.
- Perform a basic check of documentation of imported goods in accordance with applicable EU requirements, including the requirements of the EU Cosmetics Regulation, safety data sheets and other related documents.
- Ensure a smooth logistics process: track shipments, control delivery times, identify discrepancies and promptly coordinate their resolution.
We hope that:
- Have experience in logistics or freight forwarding (sea, air or land transport).
- Have an understanding of the basic delivery terms (Incoterms) and cargo documents (B/L, CMR, AWB).
- Have encountered customs procedures, and we will help you understand the specific nuances (customs warehouse accounting, preferential duties).
- Have a general understanding of EU requirements for imported goods (knowledge of the basics of the EU Cosmetics Regulation is a great advantage).
- Be able to communicate in English (verbally and in writing), another language is a great advantage.
- Be organized, responsible and know how to independently plan your working day.
