Logistics Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Organization and coordination of logistics processes related to the export of manufactured products, transportation of raw materials and other cargo.
  • Search for carriers, selection and monitoring of carrier activities, negotiations on transportation prices and conditions and coordination of commercial contract terms.
  • Control of transportation execution, resolution of delays and other disruptions, coordination of alternative solutions.
  • Administration of ERP and GoRamp systems: management of cargo, tariffs, reservations, documents and statuses.
  • Control of logistics costs, tariffs, additional fees and carrier invoices.
  • Filling in logistics KPIs, monitoring results, transferring information and documents to related departments.
  • Coordination of sales and purchase requests, cooperation with the warehouse, production, accounting, supply teams and partners.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL (-A)

  • At least 2 years of work experience in the field of logistics, transport, forwarding or supply chain.
  • Practical experience in organizing transportation and working with carriers.
  • Good knowledge of the transport market, pricing, route planning and key factors determining logistics costs.
  • Experience in negotiating transport services, commercial terms and contracts.
  • Ability to analyze logistics costs and performance indicators and initiate efficiency improvement solutions.
  • Ability to independently plan work, manage multiple tasks at the same time and promptly resolve emerging problems.
  • Good computer skills; experience working with ERP, transport management or other logistics systems.
  • Proficiency in Lithuanian and English, both spoken and written.
  • Independence, responsibility, analytical thinking, communication skills, negotiation skills and result orientation.
