- Plan, organize and coordinate own and hired transport activities.
- Ensure optimal use of vehicles and timely delivery of cargo.
- Make and implement effective transportation decisions, assessing price, route, cargo specifics and service quality.
- Manage and optimize transportation costs, analyze carrier offers and transport efficiency.
- Participate in logistics process optimization, automation and cost reduction projects.
- Initiate and implement solutions to improve performance in their field.
It is likely that we are on our way if
- You have a university or higher education in logistics, transport or a similar field.
- You have accumulated work experience in the field of logistics or transport organization.
- You have a good understanding of logistics processes from order administration to transport planning.
- You are able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- You are responsible, quick-witted and have good communication skills.
