Nature of the practice

Are you studying food technology and want to see how the theory is applied in a restaurant kitchen? We invite you to do an internship in the "Čili pica" team - get acquainted with food production processes, food quality assessment and the daily work of a technologist.

During the internship:

You will get acquainted with the food production processes taking place in restaurants and the production management system used.
You will learn to prepare and update technological cards and assess how they are followed when preparing dishes.
Together with the technologist, you will assess the quality, presentation and compliance with established standards of the prepared dishes.
You will help monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene and product storage requirements.
You will prepare quality assessment reports, record any discrepancies observed and make suggestions for improving processes.
You will participate in team meetings and contribute to introducing kitchen staff to production standards.

Hopefully

You are a final year student in food technology, food science or another related study program or have recently graduated and are looking to gain practical experience.
You are familiar with the principles of food safety and good hygiene practices.
You are meticulous, attentive to details and able to systematize information.
You want to learn, you ask questions and are interested in why processes happen the way they do.
You are able to communicate clearly and collaborate with different people.
You have basic working skills in MS Office.
Your English language skills are at least B2 level.
