Nature of work:
Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) is announcing a competition for the newly created position of Head of Marketing Department in the Department of Marketing and Communication. This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of the university's marketing strategy, brand management, digital marketing campaigns, e-shop creation and implementation, website maintenance and development.

- Formulate and implement a marketing strategy that is consistent with the university's goals and values
- Lead the team, delegate tasks, control processes, plan workload and motivate employees
- Manage and develop the university's visual identity: oversee the use of the style book, ensure the unity and integrity of the organization's style across all internal and external communication channels
- Coordinate the development of design solutions
- Coordinate the development of the university's brand and ensure its consistency across all channels
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (GEO, SEO, SEM, social networks, etc.)
- Initiate, coordinate and implement e-mail store creation and development
- Maintain and develop the university website (UX/UI knowledge)
- Analyze market trends, competitor actions and provide suggestions for improving marketing activities
- Manage marketing budget, optimize resources and monitor financial processes
- Collaborate with other VMU departments and external partners to achieve common goals
- Analyze marketing efficiency indicators and prepare reports and presentations
Requirements:
- Higher education in marketing, communication, management or related fields
- At least 3-5 years of successful work experience in marketing, including at least 2 years in a management position
- Brand management experience, understanding of visual identity, design processes and their quality control
- Experience in planning and implementing digital marketing campaigns
- Experience in e-store development and/or implementation projects is a big advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian and good English (B2 level or higher)
- Computer literacy, ability to analyze data and make decisions
- Strategic thinking, creativity, excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Responsibility, initiative and ability to work in a team
